1. Installation of Closed sublimation system installation in Department of Physics, University of Peradeniya.

Installation of Closed sublimation system installation in Department of Physics, University of Peradeniya under the Solar Panel Prototyping Project from Ministry of Science, Technology and Research. This project is to provide research and development facilities to develop a prototype of solar panel manufacturing, which is being implemented by the universities of Kelaniya, Jaffna, Peradeniya and Ruhuna. This is the 1st Closed sublimation system installation in Sri lanka.


2. SGS Lanka redefining pesticide analysis by Thermo Fisher LCMSMS system

SGS Lanka, being the first Sri Lankan laboratory to have received SLAB accreditation for more than 300 pesticide analysis; has opened new doors through an equipment that is not only technologically integrated but also designated with analytical chemistry separation techniques to guarantee an effective instrument in its application. Thermo Quantis LC-MS/MS is held both robust and reliable against the compound analysis, facilitating the analysis of over 300 pesticides in food products including several commodities such as tea (black tea green tea, herbal tea), spices (cinnamon, pepper, clove etc), fruits and vegetables.


3. Installation of Carl Zeiss Axio Imager Z2 Microscope in The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Axio Imager Z2 is fully motorized Fluorescence Microscopy system, and it is one of the 1st in Sri lanka.
